Jane Martin Board member (lay) Jane Martin’s career has been dedicated to understanding and promoting public service accountability, and she was the first Director of the Centre for Public Scrutiny. She has conducted research at the Universities of Birmingham and Warwick respectively and worked with local authorities across England. Most recently Jane was the Chair of the Legal Services Consumer Panel, and prior to this the Local Government Ombudsman. She is Chair of the Advisory Panel to the Public Service Ombudsman for Wales.
