Harindra Punchihewa Board member (lay) Harindra (Hari) is a lay member of the OLC board and chair of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC). Harindra (Hari) is a lay member of the OLC board and chair of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC). Hari is a senior executive director with over 30 years’ experience across number of sectors. He has operated at board level and held senior positions including Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive within the Daimler Benz Group and the University of Derby. He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, Chartered Banker and in 2005 obtained Chartered Director status. He is currently the Chief Finance Officer at Look Ahead, hold a portfolio of Non-Executive Director roles including BPHA Housing Association, Northamptonshire County Cricket and Look Ahead Development Ltd. Previously he was a Non-Executive Board Director at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, UMAL Insurance Ltd. (Deputy Chair), Futures Housing Group, Derby City development Board, member of the Midlands Engine Investment Board, member of the Oxford Business College Governors Board and Chaired the North East Universities Procurement Consortium. Hari also serves as a Presiding Justice (Senior magistrate) in Midlands (Northampton based) and all island Justice of Peace since 2006.
