As I conclude my time as Chief Ombudsman this week, I want to reflect on the progress made at the Legal Ombudsman along with some of the challenges that lie ahead.
Accelerating demand from those dissatisfied with legal services continues to test the service, and while performance remains strong, ongoing improvement and further evolution of the service remains essential. We continue to explore solutions, including the implementation of AI and technological innovation, to ensure we remain effective and responsive to the needs of legal consumers. With interim leadership arrangements now in place, the organisation is well positioned to continue its improvement journey.
