Last week, the Office for Legal Complaints launched a wide-ranging consultation on proposed changes to LeO’s Scheme Rules, case fee arrangements and approach to publishing decisions. These reforms are an important part of a broader programme to improve the experience of complaints across the legal sector and ensure the service remains effective, responsive and sustainable in the face of rising demand.
The proposals focus on strengthening complaint handling at source, supporting earlier resolution and increasing transparency. We are keen to hear views from across the sector to help shape an approach that is practical and delivers meaningful improvements.
We encourage you to review the consultation and share your feedback.
